Ofsted grades describe inspection judgements for settings (nurseries, school early years, and out-of-school / holiday clubs). EYFSP area figures are local context — provider-level EYFSP is not published.
What this data can tell you
- Latest overall / early years Ofsted grades and inspection dates where published.
- Out-of-school and holiday clubs often show Met / Not met (safeguarding and welfare focus) rather than Outstanding–Inadequate.
- Local EYFSP area context (England / LA) — a different question from Ofsted grades.
- Verbatim précis themes from the latest usable report.
What this is not telling you
- How any one nursery’s children scored on the EYFSP.
- Fees, funded hours practice, or day-to-day ratios you will experience.
- Whether wrap-around hours or holiday dates match your diary — check with the setting.
- Whether your child will be happy, taught well, or make friends here.
- A guaranteed place — catchment overlays and offer-day demand figures are context, not admission chances, faith criteria, or waiting-list practice.
- Day-to-day ethos, behaviour climate, or SEND support beyond short excerpts.
- A ranked “best school” — tables and reports are one lens, not a verdict.
